josephfinn & mcmatz match-up

The amazing [info]josephfinn and I were matched up. A match made in a inspirational heaven.Both having Chicago (and the White Sox) in our lives, it was perfectly simpatico as our sensibilities married to produce this picture.

Joseph provided an entirely too evocative photograph of a little girl reaching up to the great silver bean in Grant Park and it swirled about my imaginings to eventually produce this image.

I would never have come up with such a thing on my own and I am eternally grateful both to my creative partner for his wonderful photography and [info]kylecassidy who created this forum of wonders.

Ok cool. Well it is a lovely image, no doubt about that. And the photo is great also. It's just that I don't really feel the collaboration in it. After looking at the original photo I can see how it came from that, but it's more like your work followed on from the other persons work, not really collaborating together.

A lot of the other collaborations seem to be like that too though, so maybe I'm simply not reading the spirit of the project right. Yours was just the first one I looked at so it struck me.
